Work Permit 

The Work Permit program under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) initiative offers Ukrainian nationals the opportunity to obtain authorization to work in Canada temporarily.

Eligibility Criteria: You may be able to apply for an open work permit if you’re in Canada with valid temporary resident status and you’re a​ Ukrainian national, or non-Ukrainian family member of a Ukrainian national.

Duration of Work Permit: Work permits issued under the CUAET program are valid for up to 3 years, provided that your passport or other travel document, as well as your biometrics, remain valid for the entire duration.

Employment Opportunities: Once granted a work permit, Ukrainian nationals have the opportunity to seek employment with eligible Canadian employers across various industries and sectors.

Extensions and Renewals: 

At Hrycyna Law Professional Corporation we provide extension services for Ukrainian nationals who have obtained their work permits through the CUAET program, allowing them to extend their permits for an additional three years.
